The RBS GLOBAL FARMERS PR INDEX ZERO CERT™ offer investors cost efficient investment exposure to companies in the agriculture sector. The sector is currently benefiting from soaring food prices that stem from a confluence of structural supply (land shortages dues to urbanization, desertification, land erosion) and demand factors (increasing emerging market demand, increased bio-fuel production).

Its underlying, the RBS Global Farmers Price Return Index, is comprised of stocks from four subsectors including agrochemicals, trading and cultivation, agricultural equipment and crops. Selected stocks have a minimum market capitalization of EUR 200 million and an average daily trading liquidity.
